No greenhouse? No problem! Little known fact: Butterbee Farm’s first ever seedlings were started in a dark Baltimore City apartment! You can start seeds in your basement, your office, even your closet. You will learn how to set up an affordable grow shelf, how to germinate seeds, and how to keep your plant babies healthy without natural sunlight.
You will also learn about which potting mixes are best for flower seedlings, and when to start Butterbee’s favorite annuals. We’ll do some seeding together, and everyone will take 50 seed babies home! (Don’t worry- we’ll pack the seeds into just 1 tray!)
Class will be held in Butterbee Farm’s warm greenhouses.
