Whitehall has been transformed into a colorful winter wonderland and a series of ticketed workshops are held every weekend including citrus garland making (Nov 30), coffee cupping (Dec 7), cheese class 101 (Dec 14), and more.

This Giving Tuesday come out to Peabody Heights Brewery for a makers market with food trucks and beer all while supporting Baltimore City non-profits.
Each maker will be giving 20% of their sales to the non-profit they chose.
This year’s Holiday Artisan Market features 40 artisans of all kinds from the greater Baltimore community – you'll find jewelry, painting, ceramics, woodworking, metal-sculpting, food, body care, and more. There’s something for everyone, so bring your holiday gift lists and be prepared to shop for some of the best hand-made goods in Baltimore! In addition to our 40 artisans, pizza and food from Graul’s will be available for sale, and we'll also have a caricature artist doing portraits (for $8) – a great activity for kids!

No greenhouse? No problem! Little known fact: Butterbee Farm’s first ever seedlings were started in a dark Baltimore City apartment! You can start seeds in your basement, your office, even your closet. You will learn how to set up an affordable grow shelf, how to germinate seeds, and how to keep your plant babies healthy without natural sunlight.
You will also learn about which potting mixes are best for flower seedlings, and when to start Butterbee’s favorite annuals. We’ll do some seeding together, and everyone will take 50 seed babies home! (Don’t worry- we’ll pack the seeds into just 1 tray!)

Learn to stack, fill and crumb coat a 3 layer (single tier) cake, mix buttercream colors and top coat/decorate your cake in our class watercolor or ombre style. We'll also review recipes, tools and resources! Each student will go home with an 8" vanilla cake filled with their choice of filling (choose from jams and curds) and vanilla buttercream.

This workshop will walk you through our candle making kit step by step with other crafters, right from the comfort of your home.
Feel free to ask questions along the way. Once you sign up for your workshop, we'll put ONE candle making kit in the mail for you. (Shipping is included with your purchase) Please note that shipping takes some time depending on where you are (especially now) We recommend ordering at least a week in advance of the class. We ship from our studio in Baltimore MD. (If there are multiple people in your home, feel free to purchase an additional kit from our shop for those extra folks.)

Teens, do you want to learn macraweave? Taylor Riley Du of Baltimore based Myth and Moss will be hosting a virtual workshop at the Pratt this fall. You will create your own wall hanging using soft rope and wool roving. Registration is open

The Makers Market will feature 15 LOCAL holiday vendors and artisans all socially-distanced and keeping with COVID policy, along with a special pop-up shop curated by Taken for some holiday fun!
The Green Spring Station Holiday Makers Market is modeled after the Bryant Park holiday craft bazaar in New York City. Throughout the day, shoppers will enjoy live holiday music, mixing and mingling with local artisans and unique one-of-a kind holiday gift ideas.
