Winter Wreath DIY Workshop at Local Color Flowers | Baltimore MD Workshops

Show of hands from anyone who is still trying to figure out how it's December already (and sheepishly only JUST took down your spring decor.. just me? whoops..). The good news is, making a winter wreath is way less intimidating that you'd think, and is the perfect activity for a group workshop with friends (the ones you bring with you or the ones you make)!

You may already know how much we love working with Local Color Flowers (styled shoots and workshops galore, yay!!). Locoflo is run by some truly awesome people, including owner Ellen who is incredibly friendly and an excellent instructor! We've had the opportunity to see her in action at a flower crown workshop, and a fall wreath workshop, and last week we got to watch as participants created their own beautiful and unique winter wreaths! It's amazing to see how something like greenery, with so many variations, can become a unique piece of decor by each maker. Students started with a wreath ring and used wire to assemble bunch of greenery around the circle. By the end, everyone had stunning adornments for their doors, a new sense of confidence in their creativity, and lots of laughs and memories in a room full of amazing people and christmassy smells & songs! Yup, it was a win all around. So much fun to see everyone's excitement as they realized, "I made that!!" :)

And don't worry if you missed this one, below are some upcoming events at Local Color Flowers you should check out too!

Maker's Alley - Saturday December 8th

JUST ADDED, another Winter Wreath class (the others all sold out!) - Sunday December 9th

And of course, Open Studio (the perfect DIY experience) on Wednesdays!
