Back in August, we had the opportunity to photograph a Myth & Moss workshop in action at the adorable Domesticity in Baltimore - and we have to admit, it was tough to not just jump in and ask for materials to participate on the spot! Taylor is patient, and great at encouraging everyone to follow a design but make it their own too. She brought some of the prettiest fluffiest wools for attendees to weave into their wall hangings at the end - and oh! she even brought the cutest snacks too! All the participants were great as well and we were seriously impressed with what they created (and loved meeting some new friends in the local community too!)
And if any of this sounds fun (duh, it does!!), just think of what a sweet gift it would be to share your wall hanging with family and friends for the holidays. Taylor will be teaching at least THREE more times in the coming months, an we're sure there will be some great opportunities after the holidays too. Go give her a follow and check out this beautiful activity that is doable and sure to cozy up your home (or even wedding! You can check out one idea for how to implement macrame at your wedding from this styled shoot featured on A Practical Wedding! & PS thanks to Jess from The Sentimental Fools for connecting us with Taylor at that shoot!)
Enjoy some macrame sweetness in the images below, and be sure to check out Myth & Moss workshops coming up below!
