Hand-crafted Paper Details for a Vintage Pop | Intimate DIY Wedding in Lake Tahoe

Colorful, full of flowers, and tightrope walking. How else could a wedding day be more personal for a couple?!

Holy goodness. Kelly and Hal's wedding is full of grand ideas and beautiful colors. It's not enough to just tell you to check out the photos because that does not fill you in on all of the hand-crafted awesomeness that these two put into their day. We are in complete awe of everything they did for their picnic wedding to make it their own. Seriously, how many weddings do you see the couple walk across a tightrope? We are so excited to be featuring the DIY greatness that was shared with us from Kelly and Hal's wedding!

Don't just take our word for it, our friends at VILD Photography do an excellent job describing the DIY details of the day!

From VILD Photography // "As a designer, Kelly’s eye for details proved invaluable, completely transforming the intimate outdoor venue with graceful finishes, like subdued pops of coral zinnias, creamy roses, and citrus-shade ranunculus, delicate lace table runners, simple taper candles, and pennant flags crafted from the kind of antique material that looks like it has been treasured for decades.Kelly chose to wear a tea-length wedding dress, which perfectly complimented the laid-back, charming vibe.

If there’s one thing I learned from this seemingly simple and sweet wedding, it’s that attention to details really pays off"
